The Market Hub platform
is designed to transport over the network large amounts of data from financial
markets, consisting mainly of price and trade information for financial
instruments. It is intended to respond to the dynamically changing financial
markets, by compressing data, using the OTS protocol, so that it can be
transmitted much faster over the network than in the ordinary way. Thus
the users can receive about 30,000 to 500,000 updates per second, depending
on their hardware configuration..
The server module of
Market Hub runs on Windows, Solaris, Linux thanks to its pure Java implementation.
The server can handle more than 2,000 client connections.
The client module/library
has a pure java implementation and in addition some platform specific
features like COM and Excel RTD adapter. The system allows client subscription
for more than 50,000 instruments.
MarketHub provides feed
handlers for consolidated and direct feeds.
MarketHub provides data
access from within Excel spreadsheets and libraries for VB, VBA, C#, Java
and C/C++.

Bloomberg's B-PIPE feed and Market Hub
Market Hub provides a build-in Platinum authorized feed handler for the Bloomberg B-Pipe feed which is a consolidated real-time, high-volume market data feed. It leverages Bloomberg's existing infrastructure and provides Bloomberg Professional Service customers with Exchange,Contributor and Bloomberg-proprietary data. More information about the feed handler and B-Pipe can be found here.. Using the built-in RMDS adapter supplied with MarketHub, B-Pipe data can be enabled in an already existing RMDS infrastructure.
RMDS and Market Hub
We supply especially built-in hi-performance adapter which connects Market Hub and RMDS platforms in both ways. It enables MarketHub data to be accesses using an existing RMDS infrastructure and data available in RMDS infrastructure to be enabled in MarketHub platform.

CISCO IP Phones and Market Hub platform
The Market Hub platform introduces a new feature allowing users to subscribe for financial instruments, using their CISCO IP Phones. The server sends messages, containing the required information (ASK, BID, TRADE for equity, for example) and the CISCO Phone decodes the messages and represents them in a human-readable manner on its LCD.
To subscribe for instrument, you should first connect to CISCO-Server of Expert Vision, which itself connects to the Market Hub platform. When connected, a list of all currently available Services is displayed on the Phone's LCD
Choosing the number of a service you want, will lead you to the list of the available securities in this service. (For example, choosing 2 - for PATS will redirect you to the page, on the picture on the right)
When you're already subscribed for instrument, you'll receive information each time you push the "Update" button or automatically when update is available from the server:
